It gets you right in the feels

This is why I love making Zebeth. So I posted this meme around online (linked for full quality image), and it got some love here and there, and then in the Metroid page of Facebook, it really took off. Everyone came out of the woodwork telling stories about growing up with Zebeth, how they've loved the comic, and I took the time to reply to everyone that I could. It really made me feel wonderful, getting all of those notifications throughout the few days that it was at the top of the page, probably bringing in a few new readers as well!

And this is what I love about it... seeing that it makes people happy. People remembering it getting them through times, or reading it late at night, keeping up with it, Ridley, Kraid, the rest of the cast. I love it. And it just makes me smile.

So I love all of you. You're all awesome. And yes, it did get a few comments in the other places I posted it online too, Reddit, Bluesky, Discord, wherever else, if I was capable of posting it, I was joining the fray of the 3 million memes coming out after the Metroid Ravenous announcement. And it feels good.

It feels pretty incredible to see this as the author.
